There were no positive aspects to mention. The photos look nice but the reality is rundown and completely lacking any sense of cleanliness; the cleaning was far from thorough.

Very large room with a very large and well equipped bathroom. Breakfast options were a bit limited, but still very good. Within walking distance to the touristic center. Central enough location (Asahikawa) to use as a hub to visit different sites of Daisetsuzan Even though it is not intended for longer stay travelers, it served us very well. No possibility to enter or leave the room without calling the reception

I liked the wide selection of food and drinks, and the stone sauna even provided a yukata, which was clean and looked nice.

The room facilities are high‑quality, everything is clean, the room and bed are large, you can unwind in the massage chair, and there’s a big microwave and fridge, plus a sofa bed. The breakfast, however, was very sparse and not varied – you could only choose between pancakes or a traditional Japanese meal, which was served to the room. The price supposedly covered dinner as half‑board, but in practice you had to pay extra for the evening meal from the menu.
