It’s cheap, which is good. I’d have liked an elevator because my legs are weak.

The price was low, which was fine. The toilet, washbasin, and bath doors were awkward to use; the floor was dirty; the air‑conditioning noise kept me from sleeping; and the room lighting was too dim.

I was able to use the place even alone, and the parking was free. The amenities were plentiful, and there was always a straight iron available. I managed to get a 10 % discount by using the hotel’s coupon on their website. However, at 5 am I was jolted awake by a sudden TV turning on; the remote was far away, so I didn’t notice until I was in room 212. The smell was harsh—tobacco mixed with air freshener. They advertised a fridge, so I brought a breakfast that needed refrigeration, but the unit was barely big enough for a single bottle of tea, mostly at room temperature. I used the place as a business hotel alternative, but it felt like I should have stayed at a proper business hotel that had more effort put into it. I won’t repeat this stay.

The room was dark, so it would have helped to have an extra lamp or a standing light near the sofa.

The bath was spacious, but the moment I entered it smelled strongly of ammonia, and even after using deodorizing spray the ammonia smell didn’t disappear.
