Everything, beautiful location and accommodation. We received a free upgrade. The food was incredibly good (especially the buffet) and the staff were fantastic. Beautiful birds and wildlife were seen right outside the door, so you just step out. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Finca Luna Nueva Lodge and found the bungalow incredibly cozy, complete with a large terrace overlooking the tropical forest. The place was spotless, and the staff were the highlight—always cheerful, ready to call restaurants, explain menus and prices, and help with anything we needed. I’d give it a 10/10.

The surroundings are gorgeous, set in a beautiful forest full of birds (parrots, toucans…), sloths, and other wildlife. The food—breakfast and dinner—was lacking. Renting a rain jacket during the rainy season is pricey and everything is charged to the limit!

I really liked the Finca Luna Nueva. The expansive grounds are very quiet and secluded, ideal for nature lovers or anyone wanting to unwind. La Fortuna is reachable by car in under half an hour. On the large property you can spot many animals, and the pool is a nice bonus. We stayed in a room instead of a bungalow; the rooms are a bit noisy but otherwise pleasant, with air‑conditioning and mosquito nets on the windows. There is a very large terrace in front of the room, usually almost to yourself, with a fridge and plenty of seating. The staff were consistently friendly. We booked several guided tours directly on the property and were very satisfied. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner options are somewhat limited, fitting the farm‑to‑table concept. There is ample parking, and for driving we’d recommend Waze. Overall, a wonderful spot for anyone seeking nature, calm, and a personal atmosphere.
