The old, historic building had charm, the location was excellent, central and only a few minutes’ walk to public transport, yet it was quiet in a side alley, and the staff were very nice.

The location was great right on the pedestrian zone, but the single room was quite small and the bathroom cramped.

The rooms were very practical and spotless, and the breakfast was fantastic with plenty of homemade fresh items like spreads, jams, and Bircher Müsli – simple ingredients turned into great treats. The only downside was the noise; especially from Saturday to Sunday night, the party sounds from the city streets nearby were clearly audible.

The hotel is very nice and sits right in the old town, just a few meters from Maximiliansstraße. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, and the staff are friendly and helpful, providing truly excellent service on site. In the morning, they serve a good breakfast that includes freshly cooked scrambled eggs.
