It felt like a secret spot right in the middle of chaotic Ubud, with staff who were lovely and went out of their way to make the stay comfortable, giving it a hippie boho vibe. However, there were many deep concrete steps without railings in the duplex from the entrance to the pool area, which was intimidating for those of us who aren't as agile as we used to be :) The manager was very kind and moved me to a room on a different floor. There was no wine, and the restaurant had closed at 20:30 when I tried to order food.

The staff and pool area were lovely, and I enjoyed being away from the busy streets of Ubud. On the downside, the stairs to the bedroom were dangerous, and the bathroom downstairs was cramped. There was no full‑length mirror, the lights were very dim, and the bathroom felt very dark.

Moon Gang is a hidden gem right in the heart of Ubud, surrounded by beautiful rice fields. I loved every moment of my stay; the design is incredibly unique and full of character. The team stood out as exceptionally kind, warm, and always eager to help with anything I needed, making me feel right at home. I highly recommend Moon Gang to anyone looking for a unique, stylish, and unforgettable stay in Ubud.

Moon Gang is more than just a place to stay—it’s a sublime experience, blending cool vibes with comfort. I felt like I had my own designer house in Ubud while also being cared for. The surrounding Subak Sok area is stunning. Many places in Ubud are hyped up, but Moon Gang is the real deal. Book a stay here; you won’t regret it. Nothing to add.
