Juan C greeted us in flawless French and gave spot‑on tips for exploring the area. The room was comfortable, we loved the hammocks and the overall quiet. Food was tasty but way overpriced, and the fan in the room was noisy since there’s no air‑conditioning, making the whole stay feel a bit pricey.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helped us plan tours, and the meals were delicious. We spent a lot of time in the hammocks and even enjoyed the outdoor shower. The only downside was the jellyfish in the sea, though we were warned about it beforehand.

The staff were warm and attentive, the food was delicious, and the spacious rooms were perfect for a family, especially with the board games and organized trips to Isla Rosario and the nearby aviary. However, during the rainy season the beach turned muddy and rocky, which made swimming impossible.
