The cooked breakfast was exceptional, the room was huge and quite quirky with a sloping floor because the building is old. Staff were very friendly and parking was off road and plenty of it. The restaurant food was extremely good, and the pies came on the chef's recommendation. The bar/restaurant was very quiet, but it was mid‑winter, so that’s understandable. The village was very small and it looked like the other pub was closed, so dining options were limited.

The staff were exceptionally helpful, and the location was great for local walks and access to Snape Maltings. The sofa bed was not a pleasant experience.

The B&B was lovely and the staff were friendly and welcoming. They even gave us a lift to a nearby village where we were attending a wedding because we couldn’t get a taxi. The included breakfast was also very tasty. The heating in the rooms was not on full blast, but it was way too warm when we arrived and we found it hard to open the windows to cool it down.
