The spot is gorgeous, and hosting a party there made it easy to stay over. Unfortunately, the place no longer operates as a restaurant or guesthouse; rooms are still rented but there’s no staff, leaving us completely alone, which we didn’t anticipate.

The setting over the hills and beneath the old castle is enchanting, and the courtyard next door offers meat and beer. The check‑in process was a bit confusing.

The location was very quiet, but the room floor had a lot of dead flies (see photos) that weren’t removed even after we mentioned it.
