The place is in the heart of Laguiole, the rooms are comfy and the welcome was warm, the breakfast was spot‑on, and the restaurant offered great meals.

The room was small but cleverly arranged, and it was a bit noisy because it faced the street. We slept soundly from about midnight to 5 am, even though it was hot and the windows were open. The hotel was closed on Wednesday, so when we arrived on Tuesday evening at 18:30 there was no one around. The entry code was explained via SMS and everything worked fine. There was no breakfast on Wednesday morning, so we went to a rival hotel that the staff had recommended. It would be nice if they offered breakfast on site during the summer season, especially in the week of 15 August.
