A very friendly little stone house with everything you need, even a small kitchen. The terrace offers a view over the Jord Valley all the way to Israel, in a completely quiet setting surrounded by olive trees. The landlord was super nice! The place isn’t easy to find because it’s a bit remote, but that also gives it a peaceful vibe. The Wi‑Fi is poor and only cash is accepted.

A very cosy house with all facilities needed to enjoy a relaxing getaway. The terrace was great, sitting and enjoying the view. It has quite a pretty interior. You also get a small kitchen area inside where you can prepare breakfast or lunch and enjoy on the terrace later on. The AC was working great and easily cooled down the house - absolute necessity during the hot summer days. Worth also highlighting that due to not having any other properties immediately next to this one, you can get sufficient privacy

A tiny house in Umm Qeis’ pampa, perfect for strolling, unplugging, and enjoying the scenery. The breakfast is prepared with local ingredients. Book a hike or a bike ride—worth it.

The location is good, but there was no Wi‑Fi even though it was advertised. The fridge still had moldy food left in it.

A small outbuilding near Umm Qeis, built by Ahmad, who also owns the famous Beit Philodemus in town. The setting and view are sumptuous; we wish we’d stayed longer in this quiet spot among the olive trees. All comforts are present, plus a ready‑to‑eat breakfast in the fridge upon arrival (special shout‑out for the bonus beers if you opt for dinner). Don’t miss booking a hike with Ahmad around the area, or, like us, a tour of the archaeological site. History buffs will love it. Nothing was wrong—everything was perfect.
