“Locatie prima.”
The accommodation sits in the heart of the charming towns you want to visit, the view is beautiful, the pool is nice to use, and I even rented bicycles. Unfortunately, three of the four bikes had flat tires, but we still rode around at sunset. The guide offered extensive information on what to do nearby, which was great. The room had two sides, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, we had a good week at the hotel and in Tuscany. We stayed for 7 days, yet we had to pay 10 euros for clean towels and cleaning. If you book 2 or 3 days, you should still receive clean towels and cleaning. The fine print says it’s better to book longer, so make 2 or 3 bookings instead. During the day it was quiet, but at night the music and car noise from the restaurant across the street (where you can also swim) were loud. Closing the window helped. The air‑conditioning in our room couldn’t handle the heat well. After we left, the owner sent a message asking us to rate it 10, but we decide that ourselves.
“Assolutamente fantastico lunedi, martedi e mercoledi. Evitare gli altri giorni.”
The cleanliness was perfect, the room had everything, the location was great and quiet, parking and barbecue available. The pool was spectacular on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday because it was closed to the public and reserved for the agriturismo guests—a paradise with birds, grass, peace. The view was good but we’ve seen better. The pool is public or at least not dedicated to the property from Thursday to Sunday, with very loud music and many people drinking and dancing. There is no place to put a lounge chair and no shade. It should be specified because I think 90% of people imagine a Tuscan agriturismo as an oasis of peace and tranquility.
There was no breakfast, and nobody was around.
“Eccellente”
Everything was excellent, even the small details that make a difference and that you rarely find in 4‑star hotels: fresh water on arrival, a cool room on arrival, cleanliness—it felt like home, clear instructions and useful tips for the stay, and a private pool for us. Luxury. We’ll definitely come back, it’s outstanding.
