Jano was super friendly and always ready to help. The library he has is pretty good too. We stayed five solid days and everything went smoothly.

The spot is in a good area, but the place itself was a mess. Bathroom and kitchen were filthy, and it felt neglected.

The room had a nice view, but the mattress was a nightmare. It made the stay uncomfortable.

The hostel sits close to plazas, avenues, and about 20 minutes from beaches like San Mateo, Caleta Portales, and Torpederas. But the city bus routes up the hills are confusing, with many turns and unnamed streets.

The host was very attentive and helpful. Rooms were large and the garden with fruit trees was great. Public transport was spot on, and we had a few nice days in Valparaiso.
