Everything was clean and comfortable, and there was nothing to complain about.
“Overall great stay”
Customer service was excellent, though parking was a hassle.
“Though very close to where my venue was, the accomodations were very lacking.”
The location was convenient for my trip and the price was reasonable. The room was clean and tidy, and housekeeping kept the towels and soaps stocked. However, the room was supposed to be non‑smoking, yet I could smell smoke immediately and saw cigarette burn marks on the bedside tables. The bed felt very soft, as if the mattress had been there for years. The wall‑mounted HVAC fan wouldn’t shut off and I couldn’t turn it completely off; I tried to heat it the first night but it blew cold air, so I cranked the temperature up to try to dampen the coolness. I told the front desk, and they simply unplugged the unit. There was no maintenance staff on weekends. The next night I plugged it back in and it would heat for a couple of minutes before turning cold again. When I checked out the next morning to get my receipt, I waited in the lobby for 15 minutes and no one came to the office. Breakfast consisted of cereal and bagels, and the single cereal machine wouldn’t dispense anything.
There wasn’t much to like, and the walkways were sketchy with a lot of steps; addicts and a hooker were out all night, and the breakfast was a community jug of milk that wasn’t chilled, especially in that area. Don’t stay here if you have children.
The location was fine, but when the hotel ran out of rooms I had to sleep in my car and wasted money I shouldn’t have. I will never book through that site again.
