How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The room and the garden are nice. There is no boundary between the resort and the adjoining area, so my husband and I were alarmed when we saw 3–4 men—possibly daily wage workers, perhaps intoxicated—coming out of adjacent temporary asbestos shelters onto the property during our evening walk around 7:30–8:00 pm. Because there was no boundary, they could easily enter the property, so we had to stop and return near the restaurant.

The staff were very good and friendly, especially the cleaning person Kaushik, and the restaurant staff even cooked for you while you watched the fire and smoke, letting you add ingredients as you liked; that was the best part. The most important person there is Supriyo. Everything made my trip to North Bengal in the most beautiful area smooth.

The hotel was clean, well maintained, and peaceful, but the reception took too long to process guests, and the buffet and Hi Tea spread could have been improved.
