The staff at this hotel were super friendly and welcoming, which made our stay really enjoyable.
The location was central and right next to the venue we wanted to visit, which was a bonus.
The room was clean and comfy.
The breakfast was decent too, and they even made a good poached egg.

Breakfast was great, and the location was fine. The room was very small.

The hotel’s spot was decent, but the room felt cramped even though it had been newly renovated—there were still building materials in the hallway. The TV remote was missing, and when we asked, they said one would be provided but none arrived. The breakfast seemed to use cheap ingredients.

Easy to find the hotel, but parking out front is first come, first served. The owner let me have his space on the first night, but on the second we had to park elsewhere. Room was comfortably furnished. Temperature control in the room was dreadful - the high tec thermostatically controlled radiators had a mind of their own and staff were unable to provide instructions. The room was uncomfortably hot as the radiators refused to turn off - they completely ignored the thermostat and only by spending a lot of time on Google did I find a solution, but the room was boiling hot by then and didn't cool down, even with the window (onto the main road) open. Also, being on holiday, the concept of a pre-booked breakfast is ok, but meant having to set an alarm to make sure we didn't miss our time slot. Helps the hotel management with knowing how many sausages etc they need to prepare, but not very customer focussed - the system seems to work for the hotel's convenience, not the customer's
