“happy to leave in the morning”
The TV didn’t work, we had an exterior door on our window, an elevator, and an ice machine on another floor, while the non-stoop laundry was just across the hall.

The room was big, but the pool was closed and the room was next to a noisy freeway.

Breakfast was really good and the staff were very friendly, yet the location was awful because the parking lot is shared with a Motel 6 that feels more like a living space than a motel, so if you dine out at 7 pm there’s almost no parking left when you come back.

Staff were very friendly and attentive, and there were no issues—everything was great.

Everything was almost perfect: a spacious room, a desk bed, a chair, a small kitchen with a coffee maker, a clean shower and toilet equipped with everything needed for a shower, and a towel that replaced the usual toilet paper roll, which left my wife speechless when she first entered the room. I didn’t like the microwave in the kitchen because it’s supposedly carcinogenic—an appliance I’ve avoided for over 12 years because it supposedly alters the liquid it heats, so I’d prefer a device that uses heat and waves instead. I also wished breakfast hours extended to 11:00 instead of 9:30, as 9:30 is too early for those who want a leisurely morning. Additionally, the housekeeper knocked on the door at 10:30 even though I had put a “Not ready” sign on the outer door, and the message was clear; if that sign is meant to prevent disturbance, the housekeeper should respect it or be better informed. Finally, our room faced the highway, and the noise was intense, especially from 6:00 am; perhaps reinforce the windows or frames on the highway side or find another way to reduce the noise.
