Capital Hotel and Spa

The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly, remembered our needs, and were always ready to help. The spa next to the hotel is fantastic, and the ladies working there are very kind. The breakfasts could use a bit more variety.

“Comfortable and courteous”

The airport shuttle bus was courteous. The staff were always smiling, welcoming, and friendly, and the spa service was lovely. The bed and room were comfortable, and the place was quiet. The bathroom looked a little tired and dated, so it could use a refurbishment. Breakfast was good, but many of the hot items were cold. One night the Sports Bar offered entertainment, but the prices were ridiculous ($50 for a cheap, low‑quality wine), it was only served by the bottle, and beer was unavailable. The wine in the restaurant, however, was good quality and reasonably priced.

“My stay was very nice”

Breakfast was perfect and the staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel shuttle had no idea about my arrival, so I had to walk outside the airport and search for the shuttle myself.

“Als je in Addis een hotel zoekt ga dan naar Capital hotel.”

The staff were friendly and enthusiastic, always ready to help right away; the restaurant service was precise and offered a wide variety of fruit and desserts, and the lady supervisor there had a keen eye for guests. The Moroccan bath is definitely worth trying. We didn’t encounter any problems during the four days we stayed.

The staff were helpful, but the room wasn’t maintained well.
