The staff were genuinely helpful and made me feel welcome.
Ideally located in Shanghai, just a stone's throw from two metro stations and a handful of restaurants.
The rooms, showers, toilets are spotless, and they hand out fresh sheets and rubber slippers.
If you’re after a cheap hostel, this place works.

I liked the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendly staff, Liu and Lee.
“Helpful staff, but a tiny, tired bathroom”
The staff were genuinely helpful and made me feel welcome. Unfortunately, the shower was cramped and the overall facilities looked a bit worn out. Still, the friendly service helped offset the dated feel of the bathroom.
“Staff fixed smoking issue, but route is near trash plant”
The staff were alright and when I found out another guest had smoked in my room they acted fast and did everything they could to make me happy. The only drawback is that the shortest route to the hostel runs right beside a trash‑processing facility, which feels a bit unsettling.
Nice, but the location could be better.
“Convenient location, helpful staff, odd waste plant walk”
Getting to the place from the airport was fairly easy, and the subway station is close by, making it convenient for trips to the Bund and the skyscraper night‑view spots. Liu at the front desk was really helpful, and we could use the washing machine for free and hang clothes on the roof. The only odd part was having to walk past a creepy waste‑treatment plant on the way there.
