It was handy that there were late‑night eateries in Chinatown nearby, but having only stairs made lugging our suitcase upstairs a real hassle.

The room was the most economical we’ve had; all five of us slept well in the 28‑square‑meter space, with a central location, clean and tidy.

The interior design was exactly my taste and the cleaning was spotless, plus the staff were incredibly attentive to even the smallest requests, which helped us a lot; however, the shower barely produced hot water at first and we had to call, and after a while of trickling it finally warmed up—thanks for handling it late at night.

The location and amenities were spot‑on, letting me stroll through Yamashita Park in the morning and grab porridge nearby before exploring Chinatown from dawn till dusk; despite being inside the bustling district, I barely heard any street noise and slept soundly at night, and when I left something behind the manager and the cleaning staff spent two days searching for it and followed up very politely. The only drawback was that I stayed in early summer, so a simple shower was fine, but I suspect the same setup might become a negative point in winter.
