“Lovely modern apartment, needs a few final touches but still a nice place to stay.”

The modern building had a huge bed and plenty of space, plus a nice big shower room. The host was friendly, offered to drive me to the bus station, and communication was good. It’s a 10‑minute walk into town down a quiet lane, and I felt very safe as a solo mature lady traveler. Travelers would appreciate a hairdryer and maybe a microwave, plates, and a cloth to wipe the kitchen tops; the kitchenette only has a kettle, paper cups, fridge, and sink, no utensils or cloth, so it can’t be used for self‑catering. The bed is rock hard, which is common at other places too. The TV is all in Thai and not a smart TV, so Netflix fans will be disappointed.

“Spotless accommodation but way too far from town”

The place was spotless, but there was a kettle and sink with no spoon or plates to make a drink. The staff was very helpful and brought us paper cups and plastic spoons, yet it still felt like a self‑catering bungalow with nothing to cater ourselves; a small guide would have helped. The mattress was the hardest I’ve ever slept on—I even checked if there was a mattress on the bed because it felt like wood. The taps had no hot water and we were told that’s just how it is, though the shower was warm. Outside, a wooden bench faced the front, but the back was just wasteland with no place to sit in the sun.

“Stayed here for 4 nights and every day I was provided water and toilet paper. Really nice place to stay. 10/10 🙏”

The location was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. It offered great value for money and I’d recommend it to anyone.

“Homely and hidden gem.”

The place was very clean and offered good value for money. The owner was kind and always there when we needed the room refreshed or tidied. The shower water wasn’t the hottest, but that’s probably normal for most places in Thailand.

“Amazing!!!”

The property felt brand new—everything was spotless. It’s a great spot if you want to stay out of the crowd but close enough to walk around without a bike. The staff were excellent, attentive, and very friendly. We’d definitely stay again if we return to Pai. Thanks so much. The only minor issues were that the lights were very bright at night; a small lamp near the bed would be nice, and the mattress was solid but not uncomfortable—adding a soft topper would help. Other than those two small things, it was an amazing stay.
