Mythical Escapes!

“Lovely Location, Comfy, Clean & Caring !!!”

The property was spotless, cleaned regularly, and beach towels were left for us. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was lovely. Air conditioning worked well and it was quiet at night. The owner communicated excellently and left us treats, which was a nice touch and very helpful. We could have used a bit more storage; there was plenty of hanging space, and for folding there were shelves, but a small chest of drawers instead of bedside tables might help.

The spot and the staff were great, and the bed was super comfy. On the last day the power flickered on and off in the evening because of the rain, so I couldn’t sleep with my CPAP that night, and the next morning there was no hot water.

“DANKE für dieses besondere Erlebnis 💖”

The communication with the hosts before and during the stay was very good, and they had little touches when I arrived and already on day three the cleaning came with fresh towels and bed linens – plus some tasty Kretan treats! They always asked if I needed anything else and if everything was fine, even offering beach towels and bathrobes. Wow! Coffee, tea, and water were in the fridge, and a breakfast set was available. I came back late at night and had a small issue with a clogged sink drain; I got help immediately, even though it was after 10 pm! The location is very central, so it can get a bit loud at night – that’s fine for me, but it’s not ideal for someone who needs absolute silence, although they do provide earplugs in the room. The cleaning crew isn’t always 100 % spot‑on – I thought stains on the outer rim of the sink wouldn’t come off, so I cleaned them lightly myself, but overall I was very satisfied and the place was clean and well kept. A bit more light in the shower would be nice, otherwise everything was perfect.

The owner communicated very well and politely. They let us check out later at no extra cost. When we arrived we found fresh fruit, wine, and water waiting. The air conditioning worked nicely. There was nothing negative.
