The place was cheap and cheerful, but it felt a bit tired and the linens were definitely in need of an upgrade.

“Great place to stay if you want some peace away from Mitchell at.”
The place was super chill and the staff were amazing; the management was friendly and let everyone be themselves unless they were causing trouble. The only disturbance came on Saturday night when the club next door turned up the noise, but they cut the music at 11.00 pm so it was fine.
“Decent stay, but cleanliness and noise are a problem”
The hostel was passable, not the best in Darwin but close to the center—about a ten‑minute walk. Check‑in and check‑out were self‑service, so you never saw a staff member. The only real highlight was the mattress, which was surprisingly comfortable compared to the usual slatted beds. Rooms were a decent size, each with power outlets and USB ports, and there were lockers—though they’re too small for a backpack. Depending on the room, the floor can get pretty cluttered.
“Easy arrival, but shared spaces could use a tidy up”
The location was convenient and the flexible check‑in/check‑out was straightforward. The shared kitchen and outdoor areas were a bit messy, as you’d expect in a hostel, but I didn’t use them during my short stay, so it didn’t bother me.
“Good value, but the sheets left a lot to be desired”
The place was cheap and cheerful, but it felt a bit tired and the linens were definitely in need of an upgrade.
“Quick check‑in, but room cleanliness and weekend noise”
The manager responded quickly and let me check in late, which was a relief. However, the room was dirty and the place gets noisy on weekends.
