The little house was cozy and clean enough, and Mercedes was incredibly kind and always ready to help. On the first day we were alone in the whole property and could enjoy the pool just for ourselves. The pool and the adjacent building, which has its own bathrooms and kitchen where you can eat together, are the house’s strong points. We also appreciated small touches like the shower soap kit and the dish‑washing kit. El Rio is a tiny village with no services, but that’s why the house is so quiet and peaceful. A 15‑minute drive gets you to San Isidro where everything you might need is available. All in all, we had a great time and will definitely return.

Excellent for a larger group of friends, with a huge shared kitchen, an indoor pool garden, and the separate apartments on one building offer an outstanding option.

I was really impressed with the services, tranquility, cleanliness, and spaciousness of the apartments. However, my experience was marred by the behavior of the owner, who appeared unexpectedly during my birthday lunch celebration and demanded an extra 25 euros per guest. I had specifically mentioned that the extra guests would only be staying for lunch, not the entire day. Despite this, the apartments themselves were excellent.
