The house’s charm was irresistible, especially the kitchen with the common room and courtyard, which really excited us. The host was easy to reach and we could rely on her to take care of everything. However, there was a water leak in the entrance area, though it didn’t bother us.

The bed was comfortable, the room felt spacious and the private bathroom was a nice touch. Its classic spot on a hill in Valparaíso gave great views, and I had no complaints – I’d definitely recommend it.

We liked the quiet street location and the pleasant outdoor terrace, plus the hot water and a TV that actually worked. However, the walls in the room were noticeably damp, the heating was extra‑cost and left the place chilly, and there was no front‑desk staff on site—even though the team replied quickly via WhatsApp.

Marcela, the manager, was really helpful and answered all our questions, and the kitchen was well set up while the dining and living areas were very comfortable. The location is superb—close to the main tourist areas and Pablo Neruda’s house—but some parts, like the showers and sections of the kitchen, showed signs of wear.
