The room was very spacious, modern, and clean, right in the center of Marsala. It was poorly equipped: no chairs or armchairs, only one stool (do we have to share?), a hard bench bolted to the wall, no wardrobes or drawers, just a coat‑hanger bar, and a tiny fridge. The room had a lot of empty space that could be used to make it more welcoming.

Tony is a very communicative and attentive host, always replying within minutes. The property is less than a 60‑second walk to the city centre, making the location great and the rooms spacious. Thin walls mean noise can be an issue if you’re sensitive, though I slept fine. There are no Ubers in Marsala, so renting a car is better; otherwise taxis will cost hundreds of euros over a few days. The city centre shuts for a few hours around lunch time.

This room in Marsala is absolutely recommended! Marsala itself feels refreshingly clean compared to other Sicilian cities. The accommodation sits in the centre with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The room is roomy, fully equipped, and comes with a wonderful shower. The owner provides a handy list of recommendations. We never met the owner in person, but he maintained enough contact to handle check‑in, payment, and to ensure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this place! Parking was a bit tricky because of construction in the centre and many ZTL zones, but we eventually parked on Via Frisella.
