The inn was simple but made us feel comfortable; the coffee was simple yet satisfying. The beach is about 700 m away, not very close, but that forced us to explore the whole village. Walking 15–20 minutes gets you to Morro do Serrote, where the sunset and views of the dune desert, beach, village, and sea are the best. A bit further you reach Pedra Furada; no guide or vehicle is needed, though an electric bike can be rented for 100 reais per hour—I'd rather walk, haha. The walk to the beach takes about 9 minutes slow, passing through the entire village, which is lively from Monday to Sunday with restaurants and bars until late. The pool on the second floor is too windy and cool; for some people the 700 m walk to the beach is too much, but I found it fine and it forced us to stroll through the village. Beware of “tourist traps”; not everything in the photos is the same, many things are artificial or taken in the best season. The Tree of Laziness is not worth it, but the Paradise Lagoon walk is worth it; negotiate tours on the spot, get discounts—while some pay 700 for a tour, you can get it for 250–300.

The breakfast was very good, but the pool area is very windy, so a covering would help.

The breakfast was plain but it got the job done, and Mariana’s service really stood out. Aside from that, the overall quality of the place outweighs any small drawbacks.

We walked into the room and immediately saw mold and a general lack of care, so we asked to cancel on the spot. The online photos are nothing like the reality—dirty sheets, a half‑hearted breakfast of just bread and a melon, and the hotel looks like it’s up for sale and neglected. Lost my key, left that night, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
