Check‑in was smooth and very enjoyable, but there were no vacancies so I had to book a smoking room; the smell is bothersome, so next time I’ll opt for a non‑smoking room.

The station is close, but the mattress on the bed is crushed, warped, and hard, causing back pain; I wish the price could be raised to match the level of Apap Hotel.

Whenever I travel for business, I always stay at Toyo‑Inn because I know what to expect; I wish there were snacks at the vending machine since I’m a drinker.

The hotel was close to the fireworks venue, but I stayed in room 606 where the bed made a terrible creaking noise that kept me from sleeping; I asked the staff to fix it, and they put a blanket in the gap, but the sound didn’t change; I woke up exhausted, couldn’t eat the breakfast I was looking forward to, and had to cut my sightseeing short and return home early; when checking out, a woman who had put the blanket in the bed tried to talk to me, but I ignored her out of frustration, and I feel sorry for that; leaving a bed in such a state while still taking guests seems like a profit‑driven decision that reduces vacancies; if the hotel’s website listed that the bed creaks badly and wakes you up every time you turn, I wouldn’t have chosen it, so please add a brief note on the page or have staff check the bed condition and keep a spare mattress ready.

I loved the hotel’s design—its colors and textures were unique compared to the other places I stayed on this trip; the beds were comfortable and the private bath was nice; however, because the lobby is small, breakfast was limited to bread and coffee/tea, which is shown in the pictures but travelers should know about it.
