I wasn’t impressed; Mr. Antonio is friendly, but everything feels very dated. It’s a shame there’s no exterior lighting to walk around the estate, and the price doesn’t justify it. The room was very dark, lacked air conditioning, and we were sweltering; I’ll leave it at that.

The furniture is old and worn out and needs renovation. Outside the accommodation there should at least be one table and four chairs.

We want to thank Mr. António for his hospitality, a very friendly and welcoming gentleman. The property is quiet, ideal for a day of rest. We only found that for those who want to go out for dinner at night there is very little light on the property, which doesn’t matter for us since we cooked at home and didn’t need to go out.

The place, the pool and its view, the staff, the breakfast – both the abundance and the quality of the food – and the rooms in the main building were all positive. The size of the beds and the quality of the bedding in the adjacent rooms were not up to par at all. Those rooms felt a bit stuffy, and the main room highlighted on the site was ultimately reserved for a family member of the owners.
