Staying at the chateau was a pleasure for my family and me. The hosts were very friendly, the rustic vibe and stylish décor were lovely, and the breakfast in the common hall was a highlight. We’ll definitely return.

We, two adults and two kids, enjoyed a wonderful stay at Château de Werde. Even though we arrived late, the host welcomed us warmly. The château sits peacefully in nature, and the unique layout of the house and rooms creates a distinct atmosphere that feels like another era. Breakfast was served in a beautiful dining room and started the day perfectly. If you’re after peace, charm, and an extraordinary setting, this is the spot. We’ll gladly come back. The rooms were a bit cool for our taste.

A lovely little castle for those who value absolute quiet. I’ve never slept so well; I think it’s because the rooms can’t be fully darkened at night, so I sleep normally in the dark. In the morning you wake up gradually with twilight. The house is stylishly furnished, and the host strikes a great balance between friendliness, helpfulness, and giving guests complete freedom. We’ll definitely return to enjoy breakfast on the enchanting terrace by the river… I’ll gladly give it 6 stars plus a moon.
