“Great family business”

The Miran Tour of Herzegovina added real meaning to my trip. Learning about Miran’s experiences before, during, and after the war deepened my appreciation for the people’s resilience and gave context to everything I saw. The stay was pleasant overall, but a few improvements would help: the only common area was outdoors, which is tough in hot or rainy weather; guests are otherwise stuck in their rooms or forced to leave the hostel, so an umbrella or temporary shelter would help. Also, there were only two bathrooms for the whole hostel; I had to wait a few times, and it could become a bigger issue in peak season.

The spot is great—right in the middle of everything and the staff were friendly. I slept soundly in the quiet rooms.

The location is unbeatable, just a five‑minute walk to the train station, and the bed was super comfy. They already give you a locker, but remember to bring cash for check‑in.

This hostel feels like a family with a lively vibe—Miran and his crew are charming, and he helped me out a couple of times. We had great chats and I’d love to return.
