“Leuk kleinschalig hotel in oude binnenstad.”

Nice small‑scale hotel with 14 rooms in the old town, good beds, a decent breakfast (no buffet), a lovely garden, dark curtains, a supermarket nearby, a small city beach and a beautiful east beach within walking distance, close to the harbor, and a friendly manager. The hotel feels a bit dated; in the evening there is noise from a nightclub (common in Side). Cleaning and towel changes are on request. The floor isn’t completely sand‑free upon arrival. One very bright lamp in the room, no bedside lamps. The described bar didn’t exist; it was a fridge in the garden with water bottles and soda.

Everything was great. The owner is a fantastic person, we had a lot of fun with him, and breakfast was perfectly fine.

Excellent location, even though a loud seafront bar nearby, the double glazing cut most of the noise and the air‑conditioning made for a comfortable sleep each night. The host was friendly and accommodating, very relaxed. The room was partially renovated, but compared to the others the plan was clear. Breakfast could have more variety; it felt a bit repetitive, though the quality remained good and always satisfied us.

The location was good, but the parking was a kilometer away. Because of the crowds, the fence was closed and cars couldn’t pass; the police forced us to leave the car at a parking lot outside the city. We were let in to drop off our luggage, but when we left we had to walk that kilometer uphill with our bags, which was a nightmare. We asked for breakfast early and it wasn’t provided. No one was at reception, and the person cleaning gave us a key without any explanation; the same thing happened when we checked out. I saw other reviews saying the staff were very pleasant, but we didn’t see anyone from the staff.
