I liked the setting of the accommodation, which was beautiful, despite Bernard's proximity. I recommend the place but not the host. Bernard was very present, even too much, and made uncomfortable comments right after I arrived (like “I don’t often see such a beautiful siren in my pool” and other awkward remarks such as telling my child that I really want to eat your mom). When he passed by the pool, my 5‑year‑old son asked to play with him; Bernard agreed and joined the pool at the same time we were there, and he was allowed to hug me while I was playing calmly with my kids. I immediately asked my children to get out of the water and went back to my room. The purpose of this stay was to enjoy time with my children, but instead I felt observed and unsafe because the host was too touchy, even though my behavior was friendly and respectful. I didn't know how to respond, and I felt extremely uncomfortable until the end. The touchy behavior bothered me! I arrived on Thursday at 14:00 and left on Saturday at 11:00. On Friday we had to stay in our room from 14:30 to 17:00 because Bernard was hosting his cousins before they left for Spain. This was the first time I paid for a stay where I couldn’t access the pool, even though the reservation listed a private outdoor pool. For a first-time rental with a host, I was very disappointed and frightened and won’t do it again. The behavior of this older gentleman is unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially to a single woman, because nothing in my behavior would have led him to think I was touchy; on the contrary, I felt powerless against his inappropriate conduct. He invited me for a drink on the first night, and I slept in my room with my children with the door closed because I was scared. I am shocked by this incident.
