The Coach and Horses was excellent; all staff were very friendly and helpful, giving accurate info and advice about public transport, park runs, the food festival, and places to visit. The accommodation and nearby restaurant and pub were excellent for archive and food quality. Highly recommend. On the morning of the Cardiff half marathon, the restaurant could have been better prepared with extra staff for the number of runners needing an early breakfast. Although the Coach and Horses is a fair distance from Cardiff Central, the 30 bus was an affordable transport option, and the bus day pass was also very good value.

The hotel was fantastic and the pub/restaurant right outside was lovely. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and helpful. The pub itself had a huge garden, and the upstairs restaurant felt upscale; the steak was spot‑on. I’d love to come back. The rooms were perfect. No complaints at all.
