The staff are very friendly, the value for money is solid, and the transport links are incredibly convenient! If you’re like me and prefer to experience local life rather than just be a tourist, you’ll love this place—highly recommended. The downside is that the main gate opens only by button, which interrupts staff and guests’ rest; it would be better if a card or magnetic sensor were available. I was staying alone in a first‑floor room, and the soundproofing wasn’t great, but that’s a small price to pay.

The room was very clean, simple, and nicely designed, with an AC, shower gel, and shampoo. The staff were super friendly, helped with airport transfer (and it turned out cheap), carried my luggage, and dropped me off at the car even though check‑out was early. The hotel is right next to the metro, and you can walk to the Blue Mosque and Gülhane Park. The area around the hotel isn’t the most attractive, but it was still interesting to see Istanbul from that side. Smoking is allowed in the room, so there was a slight smell, but it didn’t bother me.

I liked that the room had two beds, was spacious and spotless, and the transport links were superb – four metro lines made getting anywhere a breeze, with a perfect location that let you step out of the station without crossing a busy road or tackling steep climbs. The hotel itself feels cozy, clean and newly renovated, though the neighboring buildings look a bit derelict and haven’t been refreshed in ages.

A tiny mini‑hotel in Yenikapi that’s a 3‑5 minute walk to the tram, metro and Marmaray, and about 10 minutes to the bus stops. If you enjoy strolling, you can reach the Grand Bazaar, the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Eminönü waterfront on foot in roughly 30‑40 minutes. A nice perk is the hotel’s small enclosed courtyard where you can relax and sip genuine Turkish tea or coffee – the coffee is especially good. The owners, Nizo and Hasnie, are very pleasant and hospitable; they’ll answer any questions about getting around, recommend sights, and will help solve any problems. I’m grateful to them for everything, and if I ever plan another trip to Istanbul, I already know where to stay.
