I felt the place was pretty good, with a small balcony that gets sun on the windowsill every day; the owner is very nice and offers coffee every morning, and I highly recommend it.

They changed my twin room to a double room, and the rooftop has Indian board games that are fun; the staff are kind and told me at checkout, “If anything goes wrong, feel free to contact us.” The room is a bit dim compared to the photos, the bathroom curtain is moldy and black, and it’s not very comfortable.

The location is quiet, with local shops and restaurants nearby, a very nice balcony, and a 10‑minute walk to Thamel.

The spot is great, 10‑15 minutes on foot to Thamel with many shops and cafés along the way; it’s a quiet area, clean, and the staff are helpful, so I highly recommend it.
