The view of Lake Constance was amazing, there was free parking right outside the door, and fresh rolls for breakfast, though the guesthouse itself feels a bit dated.

Breakfast was varied and plentiful, the hosts were very friendly and attentive, but the light fixtures are often not energy‑saving and the toilet lacked a water‑saving tap.

We slept well, the breakfast included great homemade fruit and a good selection, the hosts were nice, and a fridge with drinks at moderate prices was available; the guesthouse was also very quiet at night, though sometimes a tractor can be heard in the morning from the middle of the orchard. A small lantern in the garden would be a good idea because it gets very dark when you want to drink outside.

“Schönes Gasthaus mit gutem Frühstück. Leider praktisch ohne Internet und ohne Kartenzahlung.”

A nice inn with good breakfast, a lovely garden, and plenty of free parking. The only downside was that payment could only be made in cash, the Wi‑Fi barely worked, breakfast started at 8:00, and the noise level made it hard to sleep.

The staff were welcoming and friendly, but the bathroom was on the smaller side.
