7 Brothers Hotel

The 7 Brothers is very close to the port and the bars. Remember it’s a budget hotel, so you only get what you pay for. Our shower was so small that anyone above average weight or size would struggle to even get in, let alone use it. There was no balcony to sit on in the evenings. During the four days we stayed the restaurant was closed, so we had to go elsewhere for breakfast; seeing it was closed, a few tea bags, coffee and milk would have been nice. It was a little noisy in the morning and at night in the corridor. But it is a budget hotel and we asked for two things to be fixed, and they were sorted straight away.

“Loved the location and the relaxed atmosphere of the island.”

The location from the ferry port, restaurants and shops was convenient, and it was quiet and accessible.

“Great location”

The location was great, close to everything, and it was peaceful at night even though it’s in the center of town. The view from our balcony of a section of the harbour and the street in front of the hotel was lovely. Staff were friendly, the room was comfortable. A breakfast option would have been good.

The location was very good, right in the center and close to everything. The staff were courteous and allowed us to leave our belongings for three hours after check‑out until we left the island. The price was very high for the services offered. The hotel is very old and poorly maintained. The photos shown on the site are old and do not reflect the current condition. The space is small and the bathroom is full of dust everywhere; when you open the door you find dust in the shower. The furniture is worn from time and there are cracks in the walls. Cleanliness is poor (the bathroom trash can was dusty and rusty, and the curtain was dirty). The tiles are broken. There are external pipes everywhere. Unfortunately we did not expect this, and it’s a shame because with proper maintenance it could be very good. The music playing at the reception, as everyone points out, is not enough… It needs cleanliness and maintenance.

“Excellent hotel in the heart of everything. Great value for money.”

The location was great. The room was lovely and the view from the balcony was great. It was spotlessly clean. The amenities were excellent – bottled water in the refrigerator, kettle, corkscrew, hairdryer. Luggage help was provided and the A/C was efficient. Nothing to dislike.
