The hotel's location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, and the 24-hour reception was super convenient. However, there was one major letdown - there were no towels in the room. I know it sounds silly, but it's a basic amenity that you expect to find in a hotel. We had to ask for towels, which were eventually provided, but it was a bit of an inconvenience.

The location is great, but the room is a bit old and needs renovation. It's not like the pictures, unfortunately. The hotel's got some character, but it's starting to show its age.

I stayed at this hotel twice, and while the location itself is great, getting to it can be a bit of a challenge. The entrance is down a small lane that cabs aren't allowed to drive into, so you'll often be dropped off at the end of the lane, which can be a hassle with heavy luggage. And then there are the stairs to climb up to the hotel. But the staff is super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is okay, if a bit limited. And some rooms are really nice, with terraces and all.

The hotel's proximity to Hoan Kiem Lake is a major plus, but the building itself is quite old. We had some issues with the bathroom sink and shower, and the towels had some stains. The amenities, like the soap, were also a bit of a letdown. On the other hand, the breakfast was amazing, with a variety of options, including pancakes and egg dishes. They also had a generous selection of fruits.
