Ideally located, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the rooms and public areas were very clean, other guests were all very pleasant, breakfast was simple but had a nice variety and was filling, lunches were again simple but absolutely delicious and filling, and the pool area and newly refurbished reception/casual seating areas are gorgeous. We were told the rooms are being refurbished over this coming winter and, although they were very clean and very comfortable, the cupboards, all the wooden doors and the bathroom are tired. We always had water on the floor and weren’t sure if it was a leaking shower or toilet seal. Not a big deal, but glad to hear they are being refreshed soon.

The pool and bar area were great, but the rooms felt very dated even though they were clean and tidy
