“Great location & lovely cosy building to stay in”
A great wood‑clad building right in the heart of Mestia.

Nice location, but the toilets were extremely gross.

A very nice large room with balcony access and a great location. On a few occasions there was no toilet paper in the shared bathroom and no hand soap. The host was unresponsive, didn’t reply to messages or calls, and I had to wait to check out because I couldn’t reach him. Fortunately, some kind locals helped me locate the owner, who was very nice.

The place was clean and comfortable, and I could leave my bag while trekking to Ushguli for four days. I arrived in September and there was no reception desk; only after I messaged the WhatsApp number did someone show up. Food wasn’t available even though the booking email claimed it would be, which was a quiet disappointment—maybe it’s different in summer.

The balcony is huge and offers stunning views, and the room is a decent size with basic furnishings. The shared bathroom and sitting area are okay, but the bathrooms were dirty, missing toilet paper and a shower door. Men in groups kept coming onto the balcony and into the sitting area right outside my bedroom door.
