The owners are wonderful, very hospitable, and they welcomed us like “family” even though we arrived very late. They invited us to the table and served delicious local food. The lady prepares everything herself, tastier than many restaurants on the route 🥰 The place is very clean and equipped with everything needed.

The price‑to‑quality ratio is excellent, the welcome is warm, and the place is clean. The host will give you all the info you need about local sights, and I’d especially recommend visiting the village of Breb, where the old‑world charm remains intact. However, you’ll need a car to explore the surroundings, there’s no restaurant nearby, and vegans or vegetarians will struggle to find suitable food in this part of Romania where meat and dairy dominate every meal.

The owners greet you in English and chat enthusiastically about the region and Romania, which is very engaging. The room is comfortable and very quiet. The location feels a bit isolated, so having a car is preferable, though bus travel is possible.
