“Historic Bayhouse with Friendly Host”
This place is a gorgeous, historic gem right in the middle of Castro with a view of the bay. The creaky floors and wall‑to‑wall art give it that old‑house charm, and it’s one of the few buildings that survived the 1960 quake. Antonella was super friendly and made us feel welcome. It’s my favorite Airbnb ever.
“Charming Historic Home, but Stairs are a Pain”
The house is absolutely beautiful and steeped in history, with a prime location and a gorgeous view. The service was top‑notch, and the host made sure we were comfortable. The only hiccup was the stairs to bring luggage up to the second floor.
“Central Art‑filled Home, Shower a Bit tricky”
The spot is spot on—just a block from the bus station and right in the heart of town, so you can walk everywhere. Antonella was friendly and helpful, and the house is full of unique art pieces. The only downside is the shower, which is a bit hard to regulate.
“Stunning View & Artful Stay”
The view was amazing, and the house was full of art that made it feel like a gallery. The hostess was great, always ready to help. Honestly, everything was perfect.
“Museum‑like Home with Caring Host”
The house looks amazing, especially the common areas that feel like a museum. The location is great, and the host really cares about making you comfortable. It was like sleeping in a piece of art.
