“Good value”
The central spot is excellent, especially for catching the island link bus. The room was right opposite the left side, so we heard some early‑morning noise.

The location was good. The room wasn’t cleaned on the second day, and the reception person (Aman) was very rude. I had to speak with the manager (Chisty), who was kind, but the room still wasn’t cleaned and we were charged for it.

The hotel has a good location near the ferry and harbor where many tours start, and it was very clean! Unfortunately, there was no decent kettle in the room, and not every area has an elevator to the rooms. We could walk, but it might be a problem for other guests. Also, a staff member at breakfast was quite unmotivated; when we asked, empty containers were refilled.

The location was great, the price was absolutely fine, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, just like everywhere else in Canada. The rooms were perfectly fine. We didn’t use breakfast except for the coffee, but everything else we saw was there for the heart’s desire. The attached bar was chilled down as if you were in Dubai, even though the outside temperature was 15 °C. It doesn’t have to be that way… but I guess it’s normal on the west coast of Canada.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The establishment is really old, lacking charm, and could use a good refresh. Breakfast is far from good (better to go out for breakfast). The staff make no effort to help you understand what they’re saying, speak quickly, and rarely smile.
