Parking was decent, the place was clean, and it was surprisingly quiet. I heard a few people coming in, but nothing disturbing, and I thought it was good value for the money. I didn’t experience any problems during my visit.

“Absolutely rotten treatment to me by all parties concerned”

My booking was cancelled without my permission. What's more, they did not tell me it had been cancelled. I wasted 2 hours while the proprietors tried to contact for another hotel. I asked whether you could really find me a room at 22.30 hours. They said yes. I waited for 2 hours. They sent me to Redwing Lodge. The receptionist said all rooms were taken as of that morning (Friday 4/9/26). The upshot was I had to sleep in my car. It was extremely cold and uncomfortable. I got 1 and a half hours sleep that night. I am sure you can understand, I am extremely upset about this. Therefore I require a refund of £38.59. The fact that the proprietors continually lied to me. Both they and said the other had cancelled the booking. It wasn't till I got to Redwing Lodge that I realised how much I had been conned. With 500,000 visitors at the Reform Conference, of course another hotel booking could not be found, but I was too tired and shocked to realise that.
