The hotel's location was incredible, with breathtaking views from every angle.
The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed.
The view was breathtaking, and the staff were always cheerful and accommodating.
The food was delicious, and they even called in a doctor when I fell ill, which was a huge relief.

We stayed at Del Pilar for two nights in a spacious two-floor family bungalow. It was very clean, well equipped with plenty of amenities, and had lots of hot water with excellent shower pressure. The staff were attentive, welcoming, and treated us exceptionally well throughout our stay. The two adorable alpacas on the property were an unexpected highlight, especially for the family! The surroundings are truly incredible and make the hotel feel like a peaceful retreat. Ollantaytambo is about 20 minutes away by taxi, or you can take the local bus—which is a memorable experience in itself. We had a lovely stay and would happily recommend Del Pilar to families and anyone looking for comfort, warm hospitality, and beautiful scenery. Nothing to dislike
“A different hotel stay in the Sacred Valley”
Being out of town in the Sacred Valley was a genuinely special experience, with beautiful surroundings and a different kind of stay that we enjoyed. The 2‑bedroom bungalow suited our family perfectly, and we ate dinner on site and used the recreation room. The staff were very friendly, and arranging a hotel pickup from Cusco was convenient. We liked the distance from town, but it takes about 20 minutes to reach the train station. For a four‑star hotel, we expected bottled water in the room, though it was sold there, so that wasn’t a huge issue. The second bathroom had flies and bugs, so we used the upstairs one instead. The room and restaurant felt a bit chilly, but still comfortable enough.
“Quieter place to stay in Ollantaytambo”
The location is quiet and beautiful, the staff are very kind, and the food is excellent.
“Nice hotel if you are happy to be a long way out of town”
A spacious 2‑bed bungalow was clean, well‑appointed, and ideal for a family of four; the kids loved the pool table and PS4. I’d have liked a more central spot since the hotel sits 9 km out of town, and the only taxi to Ollantaytambo from here costs USD 20 one‑way, while the return taxis are only USD 10. Dinner food was sub‑par, though the service was good. The hotel felt a bit soulless because not many guests stayed or dined there, and a livelier vibe would have come with more visitors.
“Vista bonita e tranquilidade no Vale Sagrado”
A great option for those seeking tranquility and nature while acclimating in the Cusco region, the hotel sits amid the Sacred Valley mountains near a glacier‑covered peak, offering a nice view, a comfortable chalet, and courteous staff. One evening we had soup and a sandwich for dinner, and the food was tasty. The hotel is in a rural area, 20 minutes by car from Ollantaytambo. I already knew it would be quiet, but I expected Uber, which actually doesn’t work there. I suggest the hotel offers cheaper transfers or partners with a transport company. The hotel charges 95 soles per leg; we negotiated it down to 75 soles, while a taxi costs 60 soles, but that depends on finding a driver in town. Keep transport costs in mind. The breakfast shrank from day one to day two, with fewer options, and we don’t know why.
