Hotel Bom, in Burgh-Haamstede's village centre, offers comfortable rooms and a refined restaurant with a bright dining room and terrace. Located next to Slot Haamstede castle and forest, the hotel serves seasonal dishes with local products, including asparagus and Zeelandic mussels. Bicycle rentals, nearby bus stops, and walking paths facilitate exploration of Schouwen-Duivenland island.

This cozy village hotel sits right on the pedestrian zone, with free parking just a short walk away. You can enter through the restaurant or a side entrance. The room is spacious, the beds are very comfortable, and the seating area offers a nice view of the pedestrian zone. The modern bathroom is a highlight, making it a very pleasant place to stay. The only caveat is that the room is only reachable by steep stairs—typical in the Netherlands, but something to keep in mind.

The room was small, lacked a bath, and was noisy.

The hotel is located in a beautiful spot, parking is easy, the décor is atmospheric, the room is comfortable, the map is helpful, the staff are friendly, and the breakfast is excellent. The rooms are noisy, and it would be better if breakfast were available until 11 am instead of 10 am on weekends.

The central location puts you close to restaurants and more. The beds are comfy, the room and bathroom are clean, and the décor feels very modern and nice. Breakfast was good and offered a good selection. There’s secure bike storage, but I wasn’t informed about WiFi and had to pay for the bike storage.
