How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
I love the location; it’s close to the center of everything. The door lock wasn’t very secure, and the shower head really needs serious attention. The room should have a refrigerator and a microwave; the last time I stayed at Tropical Paradise, the room had both.

The staff were delightful, the grounds beautiful, and everything clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and the pillows cozy. I would have appreciated a washcloth and curtains that covered the entire window.

The room was very nice and clean. The swimming pool is large, with sunbeds, and the water has a pleasant temperature and a great ocean view. We arrived early but couldn’t access the room yet and had to wait; fortunately we could store our luggage at the office. Unfortunately there’s a lot of sargassum in the ocean, which creates a stinky smell on the east side of the island. It’s sad because the hotel owners and locals clean the beaches, yet the odor remains strong.

The air conditioning was good, the shower pressure and temperature were fine, and the location is top. The only drawback is the lack of a mini‑fridge.

I liked everything, but the tour promised shark photos and they didn’t deliver them.
