The proximity to the newly renovated Old Dali is nice, though there are already tobacco smells; the breakfast is late and generic, other meals advertised never actually appear, the reception staff barely speak English, and the immediate surroundings (bus stops, scooter rentals, restaurants, etc.) are poorly located.

Everything was wonderful, and there was nothing negative.

I was blown away by the modern, spotless rooms and the staff who went out of their way to arrange transport to Lijiang and answer every question about Dali – absolutely must stay here.

The hotel sits right on the main street of the old town, making it convenient, and the staff are very helpful; breakfast was good with options like noodles, toast, and fruit, though the room felt a bit cramped.
