The lodge was stunning in a lovely setting, and we were lucky to have a terrace overlooking the small lake; the staff were attentive but not overbearing, the food—especially the freshly made pizzas—was great, and the grounds and wildlife added extra charm with birds everywhere and three types of monkeys, including the love colobus, seen in just one night; I would 100 % recommend and would stay again if I return to Arusha, and there was absolutely nothing negative.

The garden/park of the lodge is beautiful, constantly well cared for, and our room was very clean with a comfortable bed. The breakfast and a‑la‑carte dinner were very good, and the staff were very friendly and tried to accommodate every wish. When I mentioned at check‑in that we had chosen MMGL for the colobus monkeys, the receptionist later came to our room to tell us that they are now visible in the trees; we saw them every day in the trees, which was a delight, and we also enjoyed the blue monkeys, storks, crowned crane, etc. Be aware that street noise from the road between Arusha and Moshi can be heard everywhere at least a bit. We found the 100 USD fee for late check‑out at 5.30 pm (for our late flight) a bit excessive after staying for 4 nights and the lodge not being fully booked.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this picturesque hotel, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. The serene surroundings and the warm, welcoming team made my stay truly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was in a tranquil oasis, far removed from the hustle and bustle of city life. The staff's genuine kindness and attentiveness only added to the overall charm of the place.
