“Was fine”
It was fine. Our usual spot was booked. It wasn’t as nice as our usual place, and walking up to the second floor felt odd because we passed a group of people gathering at the top of the stairs.

Breakfast was good, the staff were friendly and efficient, and the facilities were clean. Nothing else.

The room was clean and fresh, and it was clear it had been recently renovated. Nothing was lacking; everything was great!

The staff were helpful and kind, and the coffee was good. A protein option at breakfast would have been nice, but what was available was very good.
